We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our modern potato processing facility just outside Ashburton. This is a great opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
About the Role:
As a key member of our operations team, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw and finished products throughout the facility. You’ll play an important role in keeping production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport potatoes and finished goods
- Ensure accurate stock handling and storage
- Support production and dispatch teams as required
- Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Follow all health & safety procedures and site protocols
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid forklift licence (F endorsement preferred)
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or processing environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
